Those would have to go as well. She unscrewed the little square cap from the bottle of Chance by Chanel Sunny had brought from duty free, breathing deeply, allowing the sweet aroma to fill her nostrils before crossing over to the bathroom to pour it down the drain.

Then she picked up her phone and typed a message to Haseeb. Please call me right away. She pushed send and waited. There is something I must tell you, she added after five minutes. Layla needed to set up a secure place to chat, a shared passphrase for them to use because, without that, how else was Haseeb to find her? She tried calling, but there was no answer.
